FIRM Forum at FOSE 2007
On Tuesday, March 20, from 10:15 - noon, in Room 144C at the Washington, DC, Convention Center, the Federal Information and Records Managers (FIRM) Council will conduct a forum on records management performance metrics, practices and tools. The Honorable Karen Evans, Administrator for Electronic Government and Information Technology, Office of Management and Budget, will keynote the forum by outlining OMB's expectations of agencies with respect to the management, sharing, and use of electronic records. In addition, records management software vendors and service providers will conduct a series of brief presentations on how they are making it easier for agencies to measure and improve their performance in cost-effectively managing and sharing records. While there is no charge for the forum, those who would like to attend must register for FOSE – either onsite or at http://www.fose.com – and cite priority code FIRM07.
